Moreplay additional upgrades?

Just joined the forum, upon acquiring my first Bottlehead.

Having just plugged in a new-to-me Moreplay I like it immediately, and will definitely be adding the upgrade kit as soon as the penny jar recovers from the Hollydays. My question is are there any other components i should upgrade while i have it apart? Film caps, bypass caps resistors etc? I would like to do it all at once, and get back to listening. Thx, bob

It's a good idea to get the larger upgrade board installed before adding film caps, as there are some space constraints with the large board. This can be mitigated by making use of terminals 1/6/11/16 for the coupling caps once the red wires that go to them are no longer used (and can be removed).

Which caps can sensibly be switched to film caps?

Well, the 2.2uF coupling caps that we provide are film caps already. There isn't much need to replace any of the power supply caps in there with film caps if you have the upgrade installed.
