Missing resistors

Hi Paul!
I'm almost done with my Stereomour build but I found out that the two 249K resistors are missing. I have already emailed Eileen and Doc but I have not received a reply.
I believe that those resistors are the grid leak resistors (?) How critical is the value of this resistor? I probably have some 220k metal films here that I can put in while waiting for Eileen to ship the resistor.
I've read that resistor value in C4S is critical than in resistor-biased circuit.
Thank you.

Give them a call tomorrow....they will first class mail it the same day (typically).  I spoke with Paul on Friday and got a replacement part today (from Washington to Texas).

Best,
John

Thank you very much Paul!
I do have some 220k metal films. I got them from Mouser but they look like they're 1/8 watt (size-wise). Mouser insisted they're 1/2 watt.
I also ran out of the red hook-up wire although I cut wires to exact size. I have ordered some Teflon-covered wires though.

Hey Inferno, I'm in the Bastrop area. Where are you in Texas?

Jim (is it Jim?), I'm down in Schertz, just around the corner from you (at least by Texas standards).  Did you do OK with the fires?  I'm very sorry about that...it must have been a terrible time.  We sent crews from Schertz to help fight the fires (such as was possible).  John

Thanks John. Yup, the fire was controlled just 2-3 miles from our house.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I'm missing the same two resistors.  They appear to have been swapped out for two 200K ohm resistors.  From the info in this thread I'm assuming that this value is ok but would like to have this verified.

Thanks,

KDog
