Limitation for input voltage - Crack & SEX

I am upgrading to the Matrix X-Sabre DAC soon. It has RCA and XLR outputs. I was thinking about connecting the Crack using the RCAs (2.2Vrms) and the S.E.X. via the XLR (with an XLR-RCA adapter cable), but the XLR outputs at 6.8Vrms. Will this cause any issues and would I be better off connecting the Crack or the Mainline with the high voltage input?

The DAC would likely be able to drive both a Crack and a Mainline off the unbalanced outputs, you might just want to try splitting that output.

Would there be issues using the 6.8V output? (Just curious for my own knowledge)

That much signal at the input will mean that you have very little useful range on your level controls.
