S Scratch_P New member Jun 13, 2012 #1 The latest batch of RCA branded 6080 tubes has a smaller/narrower than usual alignment tab on the center pin. Please pay extra attention to lining up the tab to notch on the socket as it's possible to put the tube in any position. Shawn
