Nicely done! I found a local place that does laser etching on almost anything. This will be a great way to label my DIY projects. Thanks for the inspiration!
Anything to bring out the grain would work. I tried honey oak, not dark enough. Walnut is kind of dark but better than Oak. I don't know what is in the middle of those.
But what a great toy er, tool. Every hobbyist should have one, or, better yet, access to one.

Exactly in the middle of those two would be 1 part honey oak plus 1 part walnut. Doesn't have to have a name to look good!!
But how 'bout "Bourbon Barrel Walnut" or "Morrison Molasses Oak"?
That's a really nice idea and it looks great, really in keeping with the brand. Is the laser etching done by hand? Its like a modern version of old school fire-branding!
