We are back in the saddle today after a wonderful weekend with our "extended family". For the past few years we have turned our house into sort of a commune over the holiday. Lots of great food, lots of homebrew gin, lots of fireworks and lots of raucous music.

It's always a great weekend, truly one of the high points of the year for us. There are quite diverse opinions on some subjects but honestly we don't talk that much shop, except perhaps on a more philosophical level. As in all great friendships there is a very large amount of respect for each other, and a lot of love.
