Intermittent Static from Bottlehead Crack

Hello Everybody,

I currently experience some noise through my crack, but it does not occur constantly. The noise is sort of like popping noises(not sure how to describe it) but it occurs at random times. Would this possibly be due to bad tubes? When I do hear the popping, I disconnected my amp from DAC and I can still hear the popping to make sure it was my amp. I've had the amp for around a year.

Is it just with the same tubes or have you tried different ones and still get the noise?

Perhaps some ditry pins?
Try remove the tubes and put them in again 7 times to clean the pins.

This is potentially radiated noise from your cell phone.  Try putting it on airplane mode to see if the noise is eliminated.
