IMO the first step of the manual should be......

Don't install the terminal strip on the 9 pin socket and do the LED's first.  Then install the terminal strip, then go to step 1.

You will thank me for this.  It is SO much easier to solder the LED's with nothing in the way.

Yeah, that splits up "put the hardware on" with "solder parts on".

A good set of long nose needle nose pliers makes this task a lot easier.

agreed it messes with the flow of the manual, but from a pure builders standpoint it sure is one heck of a lot easier.  I understand why the manual is written as it is.
