I have run for months with an unsoldered bias LED

Dear all,

This is my first post here but this time around I really need some help. I am an owner of a Crack + Speedball.
Since I bought the unit (used) there has always been a small channel imbalance (low volume on Right CH)at low volume that would go away when turning the volume up.

After few month I wanted to find out what was wrong, it took me a while but the HLMP-6000 bias LED attached to A8 is not soldered anymore to A8, only to A.

ARGH! Have I ruined something? I should change it straight away right?

--- EDIT ---
After fiddling with it I have switch it on again and this time around no sound from the Right CH, this probably means before it was desoldered but still touching A8?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply:

A channel imbalance isn't likely to be caused by the LED not being soldered, but it is covered under the Crack FAQ post:

Thanks for pointing this out to be, when fixed the LED problem I will have a look into it.

Are you able to solder the LED back in place?  Are you able to measure voltages?
I am able but I need to buy a soldering station (mine broken) so it will take some time, I can measure voltages now but I am afraid that if I connect the CRACK with a broken LED contact it will damage the tube. I will buy the LED, the soldering unit and put it back into place then what check do you suggest? The usual one that are on the guide?
