I am as old as god too

Grainger, I was reading recently from Eric I believe that you were as old as god. Since I see we are the same age,I too am the age of God. Good company. i am in the middle of a build,the Eros. All is going well and I am particularly excited to hear this piece of gear. And i have some output caps for a time down the road. I am taking my time and enjoying the build. I am learning about this all this but I got started in tube theory late. And my masters in music theory and composition do NOT help with the math. But I can consult with the gods here at the forum and I have finally learned that nothing is a stupid question.I have never seen a place where so many were so unselfish with their time and expertise. Welcome to the Old Fart Corner!  OOOooooo Can we get Dan to relabel this folder as "The Old Fart Corner"?

I don't know much about tube theory, but I do know Ohm's Law very well.  When a tube doesn't conduct the voltage piles up on the plate, the cathode is at virtual ground, or near zero volts.  This is the basis of many of the problems found here.
