Hey all, thinking of trying the Paramounts as 2a3, only problem is I have no idea where the LED 's are, can I get a sub for them or maybe a place to order close by, Ontario Canada, would hate to bug Eileen for my own dumbassedness:)

At least fairly recently, Jameco Electronics sold HLMP6000s - on their website, but not listed in the print catalogue.    They are relatively inexpensive, I boughht myself a quantity of them for future use and experimentation.  I find that the forward voltage drop (about 1.57V) is very consistent within a manufacturing lot, and very close from lot to lot.

Hey Rick,

I actually went looking for some of these just recently.  I didn't find anything at Jameco, unless it was listed under an equivalent product code, but they had plenty at digikey, and since I also needed another PEC pot, I just got a bunch along with the pot.  I think in quantities of 10, they are 4.8 cents each at digikey.  I haven't received them yet, but probably this coming week.

HTH,

Jim

Thanks guys, my local shop is a long shot to have em, but would like to get a couple just to see how I like the Paramounts 2A3 style!!!

If you PM me your address I will mail a couple to you. I also misplaced mine and wanted to try 2A3's so I ordered a few extra.  I also prefer the 2A3 configuration and I'm not going back.
