help with cap mounting

Hi,

I just got some Russian K75-10 capacitors in for the Quickie today, and man, they have some weight to them!  Does anyone have ideas how they can be mounted into the Quickie 1.1?  A lot of people seem to use zip ties, so I got the kind that have the loop on them so you can put a screw thru it, but that won't fit.  Is there something else secure I could zip tie to?  Thanks in advance,

Dave

What about something like this

Looks interesting, though i'm hoping for something that could be bought at a home depot or lowes, so I can fire up these caps tonight :)  How about those metal eyelets with screw threads on one end, maybe screw it into the wood case, then zip tie to that?  Seems like it would be strong, but might move side to side?

Try Goop which is available at Lowes and Home Depot. I use it to mount motor run caps so a comparatively small cap should be no problem. The glue holds quite securely though it is possible to break the bond with a moderate amount of force.
