Help Needed for 0.1μF 100V Soldering on Mainline [resolved]

Hello,

I am not sure I made the correct soldering.

On page 71&72 of the Mainline manual it says (ref. picture #1 att.) :

-"Bend the leads of a 0.1μF 100V capacitor close to the body of the capacitor. Attach and solder the leads to C4 and C5."

-"Bend the leads of a 0.1μF 100V capacitor close to the body of the capacitor. Attach and solder the leads to A4 and A5."

On both instances I soldered the two leads of the 0.1μF 100V to C4 and C5 / A4 and A5 respectively (ref. pictures #2, #3, #4, #5 #6 and #7 att.).

Was soldering all of them together the way to proceed?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Louis

Hey Paul,
A bit late to the party, but happy new year!
Just to inform you that my Mainline is completed and working properly: it sounds awesome!!
Quick question, there’s no noticeable gain/volume when I switch the impedance switch (HI/low), is that normal?
Thanks so much,

There is no change in volume.
I tried with different headphones (HD800s, Focal Clear).
Would you have any thoughts?

Can your multimeter resolve low AC voltages?  You can play a 60Hz tone into your Mainline and we can check that the output is changing a bit when you flip the switch by using your meter.
