HD 800 XLR Female to 1/4" Adapter

Hi. I just purchased an HD 800 for my Crackatwoa. I still need an adapter for it. I was wondering if using an adapter would affect the sound. Would getting a new cable be better?

Btw, I got the headphones with a trade and it didn't come with the 6.5 mm adapter

An adapter shouldn't be too noticeable.  You can put a 4 pin XLR jack into the C2A as well, or just snag a stock cable.
