First build only one concern

I plan to purchase my first kit (stock crack) within the next two weeks. I recently built crossovers for a speaker build and fell in love with the process. It was my first time soldering and it went perfectly. The speakers were CSS Critons 1tdx and what a great feeling hooking them up for the first time and hearing music come out. It has me hooked. I now want to build a stock Crack and if that goes well tackle the speedball upgrade. This for my 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro headphones. What scares me is not the build, but will I be able to get the instructions. I only have an Android tablet and Android phone and no printer. I would have to have a family member print it out and send it to me. I googled answers all morning and found nothing definitive but a few scary stories. Couldn't download to my device, download timed out, had it but the next morning it disappeared, was sent a new link but afraid to open it and have it happen again. It seems to be a one shot deal and if anything goes wrong you must contact replacement parts for another link. Many of these were older stories and may have been addressed. So, is there a scenario for my situation. Android tablet and no printer and need to forward the file, or link, to a third party for printing ? Seems a strange concern from a company with a reputation for having the best instructions on the planet. Looking forward to picking your brains with my build once I get this sorted out. Thanks in advance, Craig.

You should be able to download it. We moved to a new system that is more flexible. We’ll also not leave you hanging on this. We limit downloads to protect our IP but this is a family owned business so we can do whatever we want (within reason) - including resetting your download limits or figuring a different option out.

Don’t sweat the manual. Seriously.

Thank you for your reply. I am now comfortable with this purchase and can't wait. Crack says low stock and fingers crossed, but would gladly pay up front and wait for the next run. I want Crack!

We have a couple ready to go at the moment, and we'll have more relatively soon. We could probably ship tomorrow/Wednesday if you got an order in now!

I will also mention that we have gotten plenty of requests over the years for replacement manuals, and we would generally just send another download link. The nightmares can come if you're buying a kit from the original owner, or if you e-mail from a different e-mail address, don't provide your name, order number, stuff like that...

On your android tablet, just be sure to download the PDF rather than opening it, and it will live in your downloaded files for long time.

I'M retired and have everything budgeted out. My order will be placed on the morning of the 1st . Retirement checks and such. That's why I said I've got my fingers crossed. Just got done buying soldering station, Fluke meter , wire strippers, kester solder, flux, shrink tube , helping hand etc.
I want to do this right. Thank you for your welcoming replies. I'm sure I will be bothering you as things progress.
