Finished Crack build

This is my first build and it was a lot of fun. I ran into some issues along the way but after checking, re-checking, and more re-checking of my solder joints my Crack sounds awesome. I'm running a Zu power cable and a mini to RCA cable straight from my iMac and my phones are Sennheiser HD280's with a customer Zu cable. The 280's are only 64 ohm and they sound awesome. I can't wait to purchase some HD 650's for a better quality sound and better impedance matching and a DAC in the future.

I swapped out the stock volume knob and the stock base. The base is walnut with a high grade tung oil finish with Dayton audio speaker spikes installed on the bottom which gives it a cool levitating look. Enjoy!

Congratulations on your build that's some nice graining in the walnut if you fancied adding a further step to your tung oil finish you could give it a rub over with some fine steel wool then rub on and buff off a few coats of paste wax and you can take it from the matt finish of the just the tung oil to a luxurious satin sheen
