EFP 3 Q

There are some 1K ohm resistors across the outputs on my EFP 3. What is the purpose of these? Perhaps  to stop higher frequencies from traveling to the sub? Also they are both 1K. The print appears to indicate one of them being 470K. Please explain.
Thanks ,
John

Look at the circuit diagram in the manual. The 470K is from hot out to ground, providing a DC reference for the output capacitor. The 1K is from hot out to hot sub, and reduces the possibility of interaction between the main and sub amps (in most cases it is not necessary).
