Has anyone tried the dayton caps recommended in this forum? I have them and they are huge!!  Installed, I noticed that some slight sizzle (which was  SLIGHTLY present with the electrolytics) was gone, which is significant, I guess Doc B was right not much different though beyond that.  I wonder how to implement these with the speedball upgrade. But, I'll give it a try when its available. :)

The Speedball is available.  It is the first item under amplifiers on the products page, $99.

Edited, second post removed.

As I've seen written  on other fora, PIMF (Preview Is My Friend).

At 99 $imoleon$, , I'll still gofer one...

Update:

I just took the plunge...

I'll do this in "baby steps", start out with the plate C4Ss first, then later add the cathode C4Ss, just to experience the  effects of each step of the process.

I had to take a second look, at an enlarged version of the Speedball photo - the cathode C4S board does indeed overlap part of the two plate C4S boards slightly.    good point....
