While this project is not a BH kit, it drew on the innovation and dedication of the whole Bottlehead team. At VSAC in Vancouver, I displayed my mockups of a 300B amp and 6C45Pi linestage while running my Glow One SET into Omega speakers in the Craftsman

In this shot, the extensive power supply can be seen filling the left side of the chassis, with the IAG/Sowter TVCs at the top and the 6C45Pi circuits between them. C4S boards below those, then the Auricaps and the MQ B7 Cobalt outputs in the center. As can be seen at the top, there is room for a drive belt to connect the TVCs together while allowing for slippage to adjust balance. Again, thanks to Wardsweb, whose elegant projects are shown in this Gallery.

A bit more detail in this shot of the power supply with EL84 and their circuits at the top left next to the TVC, and the power tranny at bottom left with its circuit boards. left channel signal circuits at the right here.

Here is the result in its usual configuration, until the custom Eros phono stage is ready to sit underneath, and the Marchand 24Db/Octave Xover sitting underneath both. I love the Sennheiser HD600s with this preamp...... tons of drive, and silence in between the notes. Thanks to each BH that posted their comments on this Forum during the past eight years..... a bit of each of you is in this piece; and Paul Joppa and Doc, and of course...... Paul Birkeland who literally made it. Kudos to All!

Cheers, Hank Murrow

That is just fricken awe-inspiring.  Kudo's to you and Paul.  I love the clean layout and I bet it sounds fantastic.  Paul's work is a real  inspiration.  One of these days I'll have to get back into building stuff again and this serves as  real inspiration... in the meantime I'll have to deal with this recession thing-a-ma-jig.

Hello Hank and Paul B.

Kudos to each of you!!!  What great projects.

Superb workmanship.

and a special note to Hank... thanks guy for your supreme
patience while waiting way too long to get all your tranneys
from me.

And Paul B... dude your good.

Thanks Mike;
I think you'll enjoy seeing the custom silver-wired Eros phono stage that Paul is nearly finished with using B7 Nickle outputs. He did a wonderful job with the casework, with the V-caps prominently set into the front panel, and a window to the eight tubes in the middle of the chassis. We are still thinkin' on the monoblocks.

Cheers, Hank
