When I was a kid in the '60s my dad had a friend that had a Bozak/MacIntosh system. The Bozaks had 4 woofers, 2 midrange and 8 tweeters per channel. They were built into the wall at the end of his music room. My dad did the carpentry work including the console at the opposite end of the room that held the amps, turntable, and tape recorder. I was to young to really appreciate the sound but I am sure it was marvelous. The one ironic thing is I bet he had cheap interconnects because I don't believe the wire revolution had begun yet.
