Crack Finishing Question

Hi.
This is my first post as I just picked up my Crack at the post office today. :)

I got a can of Hammerite spray for my Project and noticed after3-4 coats that I should have used a primer.
Lokesen, did You prime Yours?
(I nevertheless continued to a total of 10 coats with 2-3 minutes inbetween.
Should I worry the paint will comeoff?

I've never put primer under Hammerite.  (I believe it says not to on the can)

Start with clean aluminum, then spray a good coating right on the plate.

If you re-coat, it changes the look pretty significantly.

It will take a few days for the paint to fully cure even properly put the plate somewhere nice and warm or out in the sun and you will be good to go.

I put the top plate of my Eros (copper hammerite) in the oven set at 150F for an hour.  Then I aired the house out.

Don't tell my wife!

Thanks for the advice.
Dont think baking in the oven would be much appreciated:)

I put it on top of the water heater, must be around 80-85 degrees F.
Looks fantastic but still slightly sticky to the touch. Will post Pic.

Looking at the pic inspired me.

It had me wondering if cutting up a old chess board might make a neat enclosure for a crack.
