I have started another CinemaMag CM-1254 Moving Coil SUT Group Buy on diyaudio.com. If you are not familiar with the site, there is a section specifically for group buys. https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/358859-cinemag-1254-sut-round-ii.html The group is slated to close August 31, so the order can be placed before the Labor Day weekend.
The pricing comes in about half of normal retail, $230-240 including US postage. Anyone from the BH forum is welcome to join.
The Cinemag 1254 is a well regarded MC step up transformer, being Cinemag's top-of-the-line. It is a good match for the Eros. The center threaded bushing version works best with the Eros 2. The standard version will work, as well, but requires drilling 2 small holes for screws.
