Check the power supply voltage by measuring DC voltage between the chassis plate

@andre, Thanks for the link!
@paul, I received the 6K6GT and I want to "to verify that the plate voltage hasn't deviated all that much."
The MP Upgrade Manual on pg. 28 says "Clip lead the black meter probe to either lug on the volume pot where a black wire is soldered. Install 6V6 tubes and power up the preamp. Measure the following DC voltages with the red meter probe..."
BUT, I removed the volume pot and already installed the Alps Potentiometer Upgrade Board “Claymore". How can I test?

Howdy.
The picture is not the right one. I dont know how to remove it.
but the black wire from the selector is connecting to two other black wires (balance pot). one is going to the lug 2 and 12 (red circles)the other is going to the vol pot.

I recheck the voltages the other day and found my self in the same position like you.

Andre.

I am glad to report that with the RCA 6K6GT the terminals 6U/16U are 122.6/127.6. And B+ Reg TP is 185.3.
My values with JJ 6V6S for 6U/16U are 127.6/128.6. And B+ Reg TP is 185.9.
So not much difference!
