Carbon film vs metal oxide film resistor?

My mainline kit came with two 100k ohm 3W Carbon film resistors, rather than metal oxide. Is there any chance these two resistors on the C4S boards will make a difference if they were metal oxide?

well, I think I might be wrong on the carbon vs metal. I'm not at home, but they look just like this, but say 100 not 10

I see now these are likely metal oxide.

I just got thrown because all the other resistors have the colored bands, and these 3W ones do not. It might not be carbon film, but it's different. As a mouth breathing, instruction follower, different is concerning.

So if there is nothing to see here, I will happy solder on.

OK, I am curious as to why these don't have the color bands. Might as well learn something.

They are just a different brand but the same part.  This particular resistor is not in the signal path either, so brand and type are far less concerning.
