Can The Crack Be Used As A Preamp?

Can I use the Crack to drive a separate amplifier? A number of headphone amp/DACs allow this. A 6.35mm to RCA plug output into a amplifier? The Crack with its 120'ish ohm output impedance, a fairly healthy voltage swing and gain. It would be driving into an amplifier presenting 10's of K ohms of input impedance, rather than the much lower impedance of a headphone.

I have tried this and for some reason it works really well and sounds great for a minute or so before sounding really trebly and with muted vocals. I posted about this in a separate thread for advice, but haven't heard anything yet.
