While assembling my C2A I realized that instead of the 5 band 13ohm resistor I have a 4 band (brown, orange, black, gold) resiator, they measure fine but I wanted to make sure that using them would be fine. The same question goes for the MJE5731G which is what I have, instead of the MJE5731A.

Their fine.
Many of the parts we have used for a long time have gone out of stock with dates into fall of 2024 for being available again, so substitutes are far more frequent now.
