No, it's not quite for real. In the interest of accuracy, I respectfully requested via personal messaging that Grainger simply ease up a bit on his post volume and give some of our customers who post asking for tech support a little time to respond to our staff requests for more information. This is so we can gather as much info as possible and offer a well thought out approach to addressing the issue.
I'm sure there will be those of you who will be upset at Grainger's somewhat dramatic response here. There may be some who are the opposite of upset. That's the internet. In the early days we used to call this a Swan Song.
The thing I want to make clear here is that we employees at Bottlehead are committed to giving our customers the very best technical support we can. There is no doubt that building these kits is a challenge and that the technical aspects can, at times, be daunting. That's pretty much true of anything worth learning and we hope that in sharing the experience gleaned in designing and developing these kits we can make the experience as rewarding as possible - and an accomplishment that one can be proud of. PJ, PB, Josh and I will all continue to give our most thoughtful answers to your questions, and I'm sure the rest of the community will too.
