broken potentiometer

Hello, so i've been trying to resolder parts of my crack kit to get a hum away and I kinda screwed up the potentiometer.. i think.
I used to much solder trying to fix it and now it doesnt give any resistance on the right side. is there anyway i can fix it, or should i buy a new potentiometer?
Is there anything I need to look out for when buying a new one? I know it has to be 100ohm and stereo.

100Kohm would be better.
I got a VALAB from ebay. They are balanced at every level, this helps with lower level listening (my stock pot was unsuitable for this).

You need a 100K (the K is important) stereo log attenuator.  I would order one from replacementparts(At)Bottlehead(dot)com.

A lot of the time that I spend on repairs that come in is sucking excess solder off of kits.  Too much solder requires too much heat from your iron, then you'll never get a good joint.  You only need a little, and to have the patience to let it flow out well to secure your components.

I dont think ill order via bottlehead because of the shipping time(i live in europe and i wanna listen as soon as possible )

Try the Audio Note potentiometer built in your part of the world, I get a lot of items from Hificollective.  It is the best sounding pot I have ever heard, even better sounding to me than the goldpoint 24 step attenuator.

Again in my personal opinion the single most improvement to any Bottlehead kit is to replace the $2.50 Alps pot with a good pot or attenuator.
