Black Friday

I had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Black Friday and perhaps the opportunity to add another amp kit to the collection. Unfortunately I had to purchase a dishwasher instead! The old one finally gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago and the misses was about to go on strike!

You're telling me, I swear there's a bulls eye painted on our dishwasher, though it's the newest appliance in the house, it'll probably be the next one replaced.

Been about a year and a half since my Crack build, and I have been getting tired of building cables for something to build. Ordered a Stereomour and am busy seeking out teflon wire and some caps. Ya Hoo!!

I was all set to pull the trigger on a Stereomour as well, when my wife dropped the bomb on me: we need a new couch and loveseat. No kit to build over Christmas for me. Saddest day of the year. Next year, I'm going all out. Congrats Bottlehead team on a wonderful year.

How about looking on Craigslist?  There are some really nice furniture pieces people give away in the free section all the time (including couches, grand pianos, china cabinets, dining room sets...you'd be surprised!)  If you can convince your wife to go that way, the money you save could be used for a Stereomour.

Oh, if only we could. No, she says new, it means new. I think Bottlehead should institute a new rule, whereby members can get 15% off of 1 item on their birthday. That would mean I could get something in July. Hopefully, by then, the price of oil is up and the exchange rate is closer to $1, like last year. What do you say, Bottleheads?

I had been waiting for an incentive to buy a Stereomour to use with my 100 dB Klipsch KLF-20's.  My wife suggested we pull the trigger on Black Friday.  We are both tube amp lovers.  I plan on starting with 45's.  Can't wait to build the kit.
