Completed the Bee-Pre !  The base was finished with Pimento Burl wood veneer , - identical to the bases of my two Paramount mono blocks,

Yes, beautiful. Must take a lot of time to veneer the base, love the look of that wood.
Like your placement of the Bottlehead badge too ;). Which 300B's are they?

Thank you so kindly.

Just like the Paramounts the Bee-pre Pimento veneer was finished with 20 or so coats of hand applied Minwax poly.  In between coats, I used fine sandpaper from 200 to 2000.

Finishing in veneer is a little tricky until you get the hang of it, but, once mastered,  the possibilities are endless.

The 300B's are the stock Electro-Harmonix that came with the Bee-Pre.

The reason for the badge placement: when I took the photo,  I needed to add a few more coats of Minwax....then, I found it looked good there,- so that's where it stayed

Just gorgeous, Guy! And a great photo. It's kind of a cool optical illusion. At first glance I thought 'Wow, he made a coffee table for that chair that is a giant BeePre!'
