newbie question on page 26 150 uF 16 v cap says the unbanded should be on the positive side but in the pictures it appears the dark band is on the positive.  should i go with the picture.  thanks.

There are a couple of different colors in that photo. If you look at the board, the positive is to the right in all positions. That should help clear things up.

The band is the band, regardless of the color.  On a capacitor with a black body, the band will be white or gray so that you can see it.
