Very good, its a slippery slope. I suspect they have a swear box for any time the word dac gets mentioned.

The looks on their wifes faces as their hubbies reveal how much they have spent is priceless  .

Yes the rest of us crazies DIY (only to save money for sippin stuff while listening to music).  But if I had the money, that turntable looks amazing!!!!

I liked all the turntables.  The guy with the tripod under the motor has the same arm I do.

When I was living in England, I put together a 20k home cinema sound system and the majority of the gear came from one store. Well, I needed a cable for one of my source components and bought a very nice one. The manager hands me an opened package with the cable in it. The cable was perfect and new of course, but someone evidentally wanted to try or take a look at it before (there were fingerprints on it). Well, I kind of didnt like that, and asked if I could have a cable new in an unopened package.  And so , the manager came back with the cable in an unopened, pristine package and said with a smile...... "Here you go, ONLY touched by the Japanese"......    the cable was made in Japan...  Hahaha I felt kind of silly.....

LOL that was great.  Good songs in the movie too.  Makes me want to go shopping for some more stereo equipment, maybe speakers as tall as the room
