Well, I'm trying to pare down all my gear to a single system and discovered my system seems happier with a passive pre. Plus I've almost toasted my speakers a couple times by forgetting to do the turn on sequence right => amp on then preamp on then POW!...:8(

They're going on sale somewhere (beside e*ay) that might have Bottlehead lovers.  Open to suggestions.

Those bases look great!  I still have my original Foreplay 2 and will probably never sell it as it makes for a good backup.
