Adding more inputs to the Quickie

Work has finally slowed down enough that I'm coming back to this project (from earlier this year -- not when I got the kit ; )

How hard would it be to add one or two more line ins?

I think the 1.0 I built had a simple switch with 2 pairs of 3 connectors (2 channels x input 1, gnd, input 2). I could imagine such a switch with more inputs (if such a thing exists), But the rotary switch in 1.1 frankly mystifies me.

Is this a simple mod? Or am I asking for trouble again?

Thanks you,

__Roy

You could certainly take the toggle switch out of a 1.0 and put a rotary switch in to get more inputs.  You'll also need to drill more holes in the acrylic for extra RCA jacks.  Drilling acrylic can be a bit obnoxious though, so it may be worth it to start fresh on a piece of aluminum instead.

Thank you, Paul.

I have a 1.1 kit with the rotary switch. Can that rotary switch be used to add a third input, instead of 0, and add a separate power switch (that even I can figure out...)?

The rotary switch in the 1.1 does both input selection and filament power.  You'd lose your power off position if you tried to add a third input.
