Well, that was fun!  Totally stock Crack.  Polished aluminum deck plate.  Oiled wood case.  Tested and worked the first time.  Haven't done much work today ... just a lot of listening!

Yeah, I have to say that just the natural alder oiled look and the natural "polished" look of the aluminum is  a GREAT look.... I for one (when I am ready for the kits) am an exotic wood, jet black granite design kind of guy... However, when I see the "natural" BH look, I still just keep thinking there is something pure, clean and beautiful about it...I may just do it exactly like your build... Congrats... beautiful stuff...
