300B Paramounts ...

far from (actually light years from!) Wardsweb's level of finish!  but then whose aren't ...? and my 'woodwork' is especially pitiful. Oh well, they sound rather nice.

I have the teflon VCap (interstage coupling) right next to the big cathode/filament resistor (but the VCap can take heat, and the 300B circuit runs a lot cooler than the 2A3); the Silver/Oil Mundorf (parafeed cap) is rated at 'only' 55C but seems to be doing fine.

another pic ... I made 4 pix ~120k each (thought the note meant each, not total attachment size!)

2 more to come ... (this pic is a little lower res/smaller ... but that's OK, the base looks better if you can't see it!)

Here's my way cool 'tube cage' ... (oooohhhh!  aaahhhh!)  It's a dish rack thing from Target!  you'll see the method to my madness in the 'rack' installation below ...  :^P

bdbdbdbdbdbdbd that's all folks!

This was after I first got the P'mounts; used a Puccini SE integrated amp as preamp. The cube vinyl storage on the sides plus the 'cages' keep the cats' noses from the hot bottles! and/or discourages them from making a pathway thru the amps ...

Those cages are totally cool. Looks like a bit of a trick getting to the power switch, though.

I've often thought of making some sort of grill for my Paramours. Thanks for sharing!

Our lawfirm has asked us to remind you not to dry dishes and play music through the amps at the same time.

LOL!  the 'dishracks' are open on the ends, so one can turn on the amps somewhat easily ... I actually now have them plugged into a Monster switchable power strip.

It's like these were made for the Paramount bases! the width is perfect ...  I bent one set of the 'legs' over to help hold the top plate on during our California earthquakes ...  ;^D

'Sorry' #1: I got the power strip before (I found out about) all the Monster sue-happy hoopla ...
'Sorry' #2: I now use a non-B'head preamp with control voltage output to turn on the power strip ...
