3 ohm resistors (4x) upgrade

Is it worth upgrading the four 3-ohm 2 watt resistors feeding power to the 6V6 plates? If so, should I go with wirewound, carbon film, metal film, etc.?

Those resistors drop the heater voltage down to about 6V from the higher voltage winding on the power transformer.  They are 100% completely out of the audio signal path, so upgrading them would be purely for cosmetic purposes.
