0V to 6V shorted on the Transformer?

I was about to start wiring terminals 4 and 5 (0V and 6V output) of the transformer when I decided to measure them on the meter. I read about 0.2ohms across those terminals. Is this normal or do I have a bad transformer?

Thanks,
Eric

A transformer winding is just wire wound around iron laminations.  So they should measure very low resistance.  Somewhere one of the paid Bottleheads has posted some resistance measurements for this transformer.

But I wouldn't worry about a near short.

I would expect 1ohm or less. A low voltage/high current winding will have very few turns of thick gauge wire so i would expect very low resistance.
